The code I'm using is Gorki, but with a few changes!

You can just take the code straight from my journals if you want an easy copy and paste! This is taken from my Killua journal with the accent color on his set to #ff4601. However, I will explain what it is I messed around with below so if you need to fix anything in the future you can see what I did. :)

getting rid of the post's time-stamp:
EDIT THIS CODE
.datetime a, .datetime { text-transform: uppercase; font-size: 13px; color: #555; margin-top: -10px !important; }

.datetime a:hover { color: #333 !important; }

I changed the text color (#333) to #fff (white) so that the date doesn't show up. It's white because the entry background is white, but if you want to change the entry background color, you have to change the color here to whatever that is or they'll show up.

interaction/management links:
ADD IN
ul.entry-interaction-links.text-links { text-align: center; padding-bottom: 10px; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 1px; color: #fff;}

ul.entry-management-links.icon-links { text-align: center; opacity: 0}

and it'll get rid of these things:

I put mine under "CONTENT" but you can put it almost anywhere. What it does is that the image icons are brought down to 0 opacity, and the text link (link/reply) are changed to whatever the color of my entry background is. In this case, it's white.

When I added a non-white background to Ulvida and Haruna's journals I just made changes to this part under BODY

body { font-family: Lato; background: #fff url() repeat fixed; }

For Ulvida's I simply added a tiling image after url( and kept the repeat setting the same.

For Haruna's I made a gradation code at this site and replaced the #fff with the code copied from there. I also changed the repeat setting to repeat: none!
